Preamble The Remote Desktop Control General Public License applies to most of the Free Software Foundation's software and to any other program whose authors commit to using it. (Some other Free Software Foundation software is covered by the GNU Library General Public License instead.) When we speak of free software, we are referring to freedom, not price. As a result of this General Public License, Micronet has the freedom to distribute copies of this software (and charge for the services used with Remote Desktop Control), therefore to protect our rights and yours, we need you (the customer) to check both check boxes below so as to exonerate us of any liability claims for damages incurred to computers belonging to both the customer and Micronet Computers. If the customer's processor speed is too slow, or too much packet loss exisits within the remote connection, Micronet will terminate the connection with the customer and seek either resolution over the telephone or a house call will be in order. 1. You will be charged an initial Remote Access Connection fee of no more or no less than $75 for the physical act of connecting to your computer via REMOTE DESKTOP CONTROL and your already attained IP address shown below and within the status bar of this browser. This fee will be made payable using Ebay's PayPal merchant account system. 3. You may copy and distribute the downloaded REMOTE DESKTOP CONTROL program at your leisure, for it is a free distribution version of the program and no licenses are required. It is, however, in your best interest that you allow the copy of REMOTE DESKTOP CONTROL that you will install into your machine to remain in the Customer's Computer. Afterall, you never know when another emergency may arise and you will require Micronet's services once more. 4. You are not required to accept this agreement, however, it is advised, wholeheartedly by Micronet Computers, to accept it for the purposes of easily eradicating whatever problems that plague the Customer's Computer. NO WARRANTY 5. BECAUSE THE REMOTE DESKTOP CONTROL PROGRAM IS LICENSED FREE OF CHARGE, THERE IS NO WARRANTY FOR THE PROGRAM, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW. EXCEPT WHEN OTHERWISE STATED IN WRITING THE COPYRIGHT HOLDERS AND/OR OTHER PARTIES PROVIDE THE PROGRAM "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
